International Society of Zaar Intellectuals (ISOZI) - World Zaar (SAYAWA) Youth Day Goodwill Message

On this significant occasion of the World Zaar (SAYAWA) Youth Day, ISOZI extends heartfelt greetings to the vibrant Zaar Youth worldwide. The theme, "The Effect of Disunity Among Youth in Zaar Land," resonates deeply, urging us to reflect on the challenges that befall our cultural heritage.

We acknowledge the historical intricacies surrounding the unbalanced distribution of traditional institutions in Northern Nigeria, particularly the impact of Colonial law Section 3 (1) of the Chiefs (Appointment and Deposition) Law 1930 by the Northern House of Chiefs. The quest for self-determination by all the Zaar populists in 2009 led to the selection and ordainment of GungZaar Selec Air Commode Ishaku Komo Rtd as the substantive GungZaar not an imposter, it was a significant step done in preserving Zaar's rich cultural identity.

The current predicament faced by GungZaar Selec raises questions about the Bauchi State Government's adherence to the enacted SAYAWA Chiefdom Law 2011 and the preservation of cultural norms predating this legislation. We fervently hope that justice prevails, avoiding any actions and hate speeches "imposter" that may disrupt the unity among the Zaar people.

In solidarity with the Zaar Youth Development Association (ZAYODA), we commend President Gaallah Daniel's resolute stand for truth and justice. The forceful incarceration of GungZaar Selec is viewed as a political blackmail, threat to our cultural fabric and a potential source of disunity. ISOZI stands with ZAYODA in urging the Bauchi State Government to release GungZaar Selec promptly and address the concerns raised by the Zaar populists.

As members of ISOZI, we emphasize the importance of preserving cultural heritage, upholding justice, and fostering unity among the youth of Zaar Land. Let this World Zaar (SAYAWA) Youth Day serve as a catalyst for positive change, reinforcing the bonds that connect us as a community in accordance to Zaar history.

In conclusion, ISOZI extends its support to ZAYODA's cause and echoes the hope that the Bauchi State Government will act judiciously without prejudice, ensuring the release of GungZaar Selec now a prisoner of Conscience and for upholding the principles of justice and cultural heritage.
