ZAYODA Lagos Scholarship Initiative Empowers Youth in Bauchi: A Vision Beyond Dependency

ISOZI Bauchi, Nigeria, October 26, 2023 Mr. John Rica Emmanuel, Youth leader of ZAYODA Lagos  — In a world where success often hinges on external support, a remarkable initiative is proving that independence and growth can be achieved without dependency. As the United Arab Emirates leads in tourism, Israel pioneers technology, and communities like Zaar Land strive for excellence independently, the message is clear: self-reliance is a powerful path to success. On October 25, 2023, the ZAYODA Lagos Scholarship Program made a significant stride toward this vision. Three promising youths, beneficiaries of the program, were sent back to school at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) in Bauchi. These beneficiaries include Abednego Mark (Jalo) from Marti, now in his third year, Isaac Godiya from Num, now in his second year, and Lumi Paul from Marti, a fresh student. What sets them apart is that they were able to return to their studies after paying 100% of their fees, thanks t

ISOZI Bauchi, October 25th, 2023. It is a given that a group of people's culture is reflected in their way of life. They accept things based on a combination of their behaviors, beliefs, values, and symbols. The fact that culture is the foundation of every human being means that to forsake it is to deny one's ancestry and roots. The Lemph Zaar, a cultural celebration of the Zaar (Sayawa) tribe in the Bauchi state local governments of Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro, is now acknowledged as a significant event in Bauchi state, the northern region of Nigeria, and all of Africa.  Every first Saturday in November, the festival is held. The Zaar (Sayawa) people, who are primarily farmers, celebrate the fee to signal the start of the harvest. The celebration is held in Tafawa Balewa town, which is where the Sayawa people's ancestors first lived.  The Tafawa Balewa town consistently draws large crowds as they congregate there to enjoy the Lepm Zaar yearly cultural event, which
